There are days when nothing is really wrong, and everything still feels heavy. Nothing to report, nothing to tell, just a diffuse tiredness you can't quite name. And often, what wears you out most isn't the tiredness itself: it's having to explain it, justify it, understand it before you're allowed to set it down.
Yet there are moments when the body asks for no explanation at all. Only contact.
Reiki rests on a very simple idea: place your hands, and let it be. You can keep a tiny version of it for yourself, at home. Sit down. Lay one hand flat on your upper chest, the other just above the navel. Don't massage, don't press. Simply let the warmth of your palms settle in, for a minute, maybe two. There is nothing to achieve. You may notice your shoulders drop a little, without your having decided it.
This is neither a care treatment nor a therapy. It's a way of coming back to yourself without going through words.
At Om Veda Home, a reiki session extends that same gesture, except you no longer have anything to hold: someone is there, the time is kept entirely for you, and you have nothing to explain.
If you're going through one of those stretches where everything takes one more effort, give yourself that pause. Book a session whenever the moment feels right.
